New Study on River Turbidity Monitoring: Public Consultation Open Until November 1, 2024
The preprint titled "Technical note: Image processing for continuous river turbidity monitoring - full scale tests and potential applications" involves contributions from key partners of the OurMED project, including Domenico Miglino, Khim Cathleen Saddi, Francesco Isgrò, Salvatore Manfreda from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UNINA), and Seifeddine Jomaa, Michael Rode from the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). This study, now available on EGUsphere for public consultation until November 1, 2024, is an integral part of the OurMED initiative focused on sustainable water management in the Mediterranean. It explores innovative methods of continuous river turbidity monitoring using digital cameras, including drones and multispectral systems, to enhance water quality detection and management.
