UPV is a public higher-education institution. The Group of Hydrogeology is part of the Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering and has long experience in subsurface resources analysis and modelling. The group has developed innovative techniques for the characterization and modelling of various aquifers systems. UPV has strong expertise in numerical modelling, data-driven analysis and groundwater assessment and management, required skills to meet OurMED targets.
Role: UPV will be in charge of the data management and the development of a robust methodology using multi-objective functions, and will be managing the spanish demosite.

Tour du Valat (TdV) is a non-profit organization and research institute for the Conservation of MED Wetlands with some 70 staff and visiting scientists. TdV’s mission is to halt and reverse the destruction and degradation of MED wetlands and their natural resources, adopting the Mediterranean Wetlands Strategy (Venice, June 1996).
Role: Tdv is the leader of WP7 “Upscaling water-related Ecosystems” and will be managing the Mediterranean demosite.

UNISS is a public university founded over 450 years ago and includes academic staff of some 640 researchers and professors. The Desertification Research Centre (NRD-UNISS) is an interdisciplinary centre founded in 2000 focusing on sustainable water resources management, integrated management of coastal areas; desertification and the recovery of degraded lands; adaptation of agricultural systems to climate change; socio-economic development and poverty reduction in rural areas of Africa and Latin America and participatory approaches and engagement of multi-stakeholder platforms.
Role: UNISS will be in charge of reinforcing multi-stakeholders dialogue and sustaining the social learning process, and will be managing the italian demosite.

The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) is an independent national organization devoted to the conservation of Jordan's natural resources. RSCN was established in 1966 with His Majesty the late King Hussein as the Honorary President. RSCN is the first and the largest established NGO in Jordan. It is one of the few national organizations in the Middle East to be granted the mandate to protect the Kingdom’s biodiversity. It gained a wide global fame for its pioneering work in integrating nature conservation with socio-economic development.
Role: RSCN will be in charge of the analysis of both enabling factors and potential barriers toward the implementation of NbS, and will be managing the jordanian demaosite.

LPM is a Moroccan NGO founded in 2017 whose main mission is the conservation of nature and protection of the environment. Through its partnership with WWF MED North Africa in Morocco, LPM designs and implements its conservation program through large-scale field projects focused on the protection, conservation and restoration of freshwater, wetlands and natural habitats.
Role: LPM will be in charge of the establishment of systemic scientific knowledge for proper water management, and will be managing the moroccan demosite.

AGRI has an international experience dealing with different agriculture and water quality projects in Europe, Africa and America.
Role: AGRI is the leader of WP6 “ Innovative technologies and DSS” and will be managing the portuguese demosite.

ESIM is one of the main Tunisian institutions of education, research and technological transfer, in the field of water resources and agricultural mechanization. The educational curricula hosted by ESIM are engineering, master and doctoral degree, mainly related to water quantity and quality and climate change adaptation.
Role: ESIM will be in charge of Demo site characterisation and requirements elicitation, and will be managing the Tunisian demosite.
