The 5th edition of the Mediterranean Water Forum, held in Tunisia from February 05 to 07, 2024, focused on the theme "Together for shared water sobriety." The forum aimed to bring together key stakeholders in the Mediterranean water community to address pressing issues. It sought to provide innovative solutions to evolving water needs and serve as a platform for showcasing replicable solutions to emerging global water problems.
Moreover, the event aimed to foster dialogue conducive to developing an equitable strategy for the sustainable management of water resources in the Mediterranean region. One of the key objectives was to elevate water as a political priority at the global, regional, and national levels. The OurMED Project team actively participated in the forum and engaged in a side event organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation on "How can nature contribute to the water crisis?" During this session, Maroua OUESLATI the WP8 ( impact, engagement and sustainability) leader presented the OurMED project and its solutions, contributing valuable insights to the discourse on water sustainability.
