The OurMED project recently organized pioneering Living Lab sessions on February 21 and 22, bringing together various stakeholders at the University of Jendouba and Sidi Thabet. These sessions, focusing on the governorates of Jendouba, Kef, Manouba, Ariana and Bizerte, aimed to promote collaborative approaches to environmental challenges.
At the University of Jendouba, participants from the governorates of Jendouba and Kef took part in interactive workshops, brainstorming sessions and discussions. These activities aimed to identify local environmental issues, particularly in water management and sustainability. The collaborative atmosphere enabled stakeholders from different backgrounds, including academia, local government and community groups, to share their perspectives and propose innovative solutions.
Similarly, the event in Sidi Thabet for the Manouba, Ariana and Bizerte governorates followed this approach, focusing on regional environmental challenges. Participants took part in solution-oriented discussions, harnessing local knowledge and experience to address the specific environmental concerns of their communities.
These Living Lab sessions are part of the OurMED project's commitment to inclusive and participatory environmental governance. By mobilizing the collective expertise and viewpoints of local stakeholders, the OurMED project aims to develop practical, sustainable solutions tailored to the unique needs of each region.
