A vibrant group of young people gathered in Cabras on July 8th, marking a significant milestone for the OurMED living lab in Sardinia. The event highlighted various interpretations and visions of development, recognizing water as a crucial resource. Water was seen as a unifying element, connecting rural areas with coastal and inland regions of Sardinia. This perspective redefines the sense of belonging to a place, aligning it more with natural and socio-cultural ecosystems rather than administrative boundaries. Together, these young people are re-imagining a future where water sustains ecosystems while also driving sustainable economic and social growth.
